I think You need to see the volume of the engulfing candle at the top of the daily chart to confirm that it will be reversal or not.

I always used to Wonder why such types of candles are formed in stocks which are in strong uptrend. Inspite of so much fall, next candle again goes higher than previous one. Now I understand that concept very well. Thank you so much.
