I always assumed the ltc/btc relationship was basically a cycle with a fairly predictable top and bottom, but it is starting to looking like Beetcoin's prediction of a medium- to long-term bear market in ltc vs btc is taking shape, unfortunately—the crash cycle becomes pretty clear when you pull way out, timeframe-wise. I think we'll know for sure once btc finally busts through this resistance at $780-$790. Unless the ratio reverses explosively upward then or shortly thereafter, IMO we're due for some serious additional downside... a dip to .002 (long term support from early 2013) before the next spike may be in store.
Wondering if MMs want to keep ltc's baseline usd price low (around $3-$4) in order to make it easier to accumulate... That means that with btc likely to break through to new likely highs in 2017, the ratio is going to have to settle in a new range well under our previous one of .008–.05 in order to maintain this parity.
