Hi @Clansi Thanks for this. useful tool Ive been looking for. One slight issue I am getting slightly different results from when i measure ranges manually. How are you measuring candlesticks. Do you just measure range of opening and closing prices or High - Low prices. I suspect the first because one instrument I looked at had an MTR of 27 March 2014, however your indicator suggests 157? (Phoenix group holdings - Ticker = PHNX)

@osunwoke2, glad that you like the script :) It uses the PineScript (V3) tr-variable (tradingview.com/pine-script-reference/v3/ which calculates the true range by max(high - low, abs(high - close[1]), abs(low - close[1].
