It might be personal preference, but wouldn't it give a better read to do "src_longs/(src_longs + src_shorts)"? It would give you the ratio of longs against total of open positions either way.

How do you use this? It doesn't forecast any price changes. I think the ratio of shorts to the daily avg trading volume is what you want to be looking at or days to cover.

@JonHorvath, when longs are growing up problably the Market Makers will move the price against them. Same thing when shorts are prevailing, dumb money will be hunt when liquidity looks fine for the sharks.
