Multi-Timeframe Squeeze Board — Lite answers one question at a glance: "Where is this symbol compressed, and which way is momentum leaning, on every timeframe that matters?" For the chart's symbol it displays a compact table with one row per timeframe — 15m, 1h, 4h, Daily, Weekly — and two readings per row:
- Sqz — the TTM Squeeze compression state as a colored dot, using the standard three-level cascade: orange = high squeeze (deepest compression), red = mid squeeze, black = low squeeze, green = no squeeze (volatility released / normal).
- Mom — the squeeze momentum oscillator as a colored arrow using the classic 4-color scheme: aqua = positive and rising, blue = positive but falling, yellow = negative but rising, red = negative and falling. The arrow points up when momentum is increasing bar-over-bar and down when it is decreasing.
A stacked squeeze (orange/red dots on several adjacent timeframes) marks a market coiling across horizons; the momentum colors tell you which side the pressure is building on.
How it works
Each row runs the full TTM Squeeze calculation on its own timeframe via request.security() with lookahead = barmerge.lookahead_off (no future data, ever):
1. Bollinger Bands: SMA(close, 20) basis, 2.0 × population standard deviation.
2. Keltner Channels: the same SMA(close, 20) basis, with band width = SMA of True Range over 20 bars (simple average of TR — not Wilder's ATR) at three multipliers: 1.0, 1.5, 2.0.
3. A squeeze is on when the Bollinger Bands sit fully inside the Keltner Channel on both sides. The narrower the Keltner band that still contains the BB, the deeper the compression — hence the 1.0-multiplier band defines the high squeeze, 1.5 the mid, 2.0 the low.
4. Momentum is the linear regression of price's deviation from the average of the Donchian midline and the SMA, over the same 20 bars.
By default the board evaluates confirmed bars only: every row shows the last fully closed bar of its timeframe, so a dot or arrow never changes after it appears. See Limitations for the tradeoff.
Inputs
- Squeeze length — lookback for BB, KC and momentum (default 20, the canonical TTM setting).
- Confirmed HTF bars only — ON (default): stable, non-repainting readings that lag up to one bar of each row's timeframe. OFF: rows track the still-forming higher-timeframe bar — more current, but the reading can flip until that bar closes.
- Table position / Table size — where the board sits and how large it renders.
How to use it
Apply it to a 15m chart (or lower) so all five rows populate. Scan the Sqz column top-to-bottom: multiple orange/red dots stacked across timeframes indicate multi-horizon compression — historically the precondition for expansion moves. Then read the Mom column for directional lean while the compression resolves. The board is a context tool: it tells you where energy is stored, not when or in which direction it must release.
Limitations — please read
- Confirmed-bar lag: with the default non-repainting mode, the Weekly row updates once per week, the Daily row once per day, etc. That is the honest cost of stability. Turning the toggle off shows the live forming bar instead, and those readings can change until the bar closes.
- Rows below the chart's timeframe show "–": Pine's request.security() cannot reliably reconstruct lower-timeframe series, so instead of showing a possibly wrong dot the board declines to show one. Use a 15m chart to see everything.
- A squeeze has no direction. Compression means stored energy, not a buy or sell signal. The momentum color is a lean, not a prediction.
- Warm-up: each timeframe needs about 20 bars of history before its row populates (shown as "·" until then).

What it is
Trading a single timeframe blinds you to the larger context; watching many by eye is slow and inconsistent. This indicator evaluates a grid of timeframes and trend methods, turns the whole grid into one alignment score, and signals when top-down agreement forms. It is an original multi-timeframe aggregation tool built to avoid the common pitfalls of higher-timeframe requests.
How it works
• The matrix — a set of higher and lower timeframes is each assessed by several independent trend methods (such as a moving-average relationship, a directional trend measure and a momentum read). Each cell of the grid returns simply bullish or bearish, so the picture is easy to interpret.
• No lookahead — every higher-timeframe value is pulled with lookahead disabled, so the indicator never borrows future data from an unclosed higher-timeframe bar. This is a deliberate, disclosed design choice that keeps the signals honest and non-repainting on historical bars.
• Alignment score — the grid is condensed into one signed score representing how strongly all timeframes and methods agree. Full agreement produces a strong reading; a split grid produces a weak, near-neutral one.
• State-machine signals — a Buy fires when alignment turns sufficiently bullish from a non-bullish state; a Sell is the mirror. Requiring a state change means the matrix will not re-signal the same direction repeatedly — the signals are self-spacing.
Trade levels
Each signal draws a red risk box to the ATR stop and a green reward box to the third target, with inner dividers and right-edge labels for entry, stop and each take-profit at your R multiples.
The dashboard
An adjustable alignment-matrix panel displays every timeframe-by-method cell as bullish or bearish, a bipolar alignment-score headline, the active signal, a conviction estimate, and a live first-target-before-stop tally from closed bars only. The grid shows exactly which timeframes agree and which disagree.
How to use it
• Works on any asset; pick a base timeframe and let the grid supply the higher-timeframe context.
• Favour entries when the grid is broadly aligned; be cautious when it is mixed.
• Use it as a top-down filter alongside your own entry method, or take its aligned signals directly.

Once a bar closes, every Tenkan/Kijun/Span value is fixed and never redrawn. Hints and cross circles are all confirmed on bar close, so a printed mark cannot later disappear. The forward cloud is built only from closed bars, so it is fixed the moment it appears. Like all Ichimoku tools, values on the CURRENT, still-forming bar update in real time until that bar closes — this is inherent to the framework, not hidden repainting, and it is documented directly in the code comments.

Each session it pulls confirmed pivot highs and lows from M30, H1, H2 and H4 by default, wraps each one in a uniform ATR-scaled band, fuses overlapping levels into single confluence zones tagged with every timeframe involved, and grades all of them 0–10. The whole tool runs on one idea: not all levels are equal — a level that four timeframes agree on, that rejected price with a violent wick, and that stands far out from the local mean is a different animal from a shallow M30 pivot, and it should not look the same on your chart.

🧱 The Pivot Core the only source of truth — Every zone in this tool descends from a confirmed swing pivot, never from an indicator line, a moving average or a projected level. Pivot strength is set left/right 5/5 by default, so a pivot must be the highest high or lowest low of its neighborhood before it counts. Each of the four timeframe slots runs its own pivot scan independently and reports back. Nothing is drawn from a guess.
📐 Four-Timeframe Stacking — Four independent slots, each toggleable, defaulted to M30 · H1 · H2 · H4. A pivot found on H4 spawns a zone; so does one on M30. They are graded very differently — timeframe rank is the heaviest input to the score — but they all live on the same chart, in the same session, in one coherent ladder. Every zone is labeled with the exact timeframe set that produced it, so an M30·H1·H4 zone announces itself as such.

Within a session, same-side zones whose bands overlap within a 0.35 ATR tolerance are fused into a single confluence zone. The merged zone inherits a wick-weighted average level, the deepest prominence, the highest timeframe rank, and the union of every timeframe that contributed to it. It is then re-scored, tagged with a ◆ marker, painted in the dedicated confluence color, and given a scoring bonus for every extra timeframe present. Instead of four near-identical lines cluttering the same price, you get one zone that reads M30·H1·H2·H4 and grades near-elite. Merging repeats until the session settles, so three or four overlapping levels collapse cleanly into one.
🏷️ The 0–10 Strength Engine — Every zone carries a live grade with stars and a tier word FORMING → WEAK → MODERATE → STRONG → ELITE. The score is a weighted blend of four independently measurable properties, and all four weights are user-adjustable:
▪️ Timeframe Rank 0.40 — an H4 pivot outranks an M30 pivot. The dominant term.
▪️ Confluence 0.28 — how many timeframes are stacked at this price, plus a flat bonus per extra timeframe.
▪️ Rejection Wick 0.18 — the actual wick beyond the candle body at the pivot, normalized against ATR. A pivot that speared price and snapped back scores higher than a soft rounded turn.
▪️ Pivot Prominence 0.14 — how far the pivot stands out from the local mean, normalized against ATR. An isolated extreme outranks a pivot buried inside congestion.
Read the grade as a descriptive conviction ranking for which zone deserves your attention — it is not a backtested win-rate. A score filter hides everything below a level you choose, so you can strip the chart down to STRONG and ELITE only.

🗓️ Session Engine & Auto-Cleanup — A fresh stack of zones is born on every new bar of the session timeframe daily by default. Zones span exactly their own session and close cleanly at the boundary — no bleed into the next day. The current session extends a configurable number of bars to the right so live price has room to interact with it. The last N sessions are kept 3 by default and older ones are deleted automatically. Within each session a hard cap 14 by default keeps the stack clean: once it is hit, the weakest-scoring zones are dropped first, so what survives on your chart is by construction the strongest structure of that session.
🎨 Strength-Graded Shading — Four shades per side, graded weak → elite, with opacity scaling directly off the score. Weak zones stay faint, elite zones render solid, and confluence zones take the dedicated confluence color regardless of side. You are reading conviction with your peripheral vision before you read a single number. Resistance runs the teal family, support the magenta-red-purple family, and the whole palette plus transparency floor, opacity span and borders are fully user-editable.

🔒 Non-Repainting — Higher-timeframe data is requested with lookahead disabled, and zones only spawn on confirmed bars. A pivot is only a pivot once its right-hand bars have printed, so a level appears after its confirmation delay and then never moves, never repaints, and never disappears retroactively. Past sessions are frozen exactly as they were drawn. This is the honest tradeoff of pivot structure: confirmation costs you bars, and in exchange the level is real.

🎯 How To Trade It — Two Approaches
Everything hinges on the grade. A FORMING or WEAK zone is noise you can see; a STRONG or ELITE ◆ confluence zone is where multiple timeframes have already fought. Trade the graded zones, and use Room in ATR to confirm the trade has somewhere to go.
◾ 1 REACT at the zone — trade the rejection
This is the tool's core use. Price arrives at a high-graded zone and you fade the touch back toward the opposite side of the ladder.
▪️ Setup: wait for price to reach a STRONG / ELITE zone — ideally a ◆ confluence zone carrying three or four timeframes. Check the dashboard: is it the ★ Strongest zone? Is Room to the opposite zone worth the risk?
▪️ Entry: on rejection out of the zone, with your own confirmation — a wick, an engulfing close, a lower-timeframe structure break. The zone is the location; it is not the trigger.
▪️ Stop: on the far side of the zone band. The band has real thickness for exactly this reason. A decisive close through the zone means the level failed and the thesis is wrong.
▪️ Targets: the Nearest Sup / Nearest Res on the opposite side, then step through the ladder tier by tier, banking partials at each graded zone.
⚖️ The cleanest version: price runs into a ◆ confluence zone that four timeframes share, grades ELITE, sits at the top of an empty stretch of Room, and rejects on the first touch. First touches of fresh high-graded zones are the setup; the fifth retest of the same zone is not.
◾ 2 TRADE THE BREAK — the zone flips role
The mirror case, and the one that saves you when approach 1 fails.
▪️ Setup: a decisive close through a high-graded zone — especially a ◆ confluence zone — is meaningful information. It took real displacement to break a level that many timeframes were defending.
▪️ Entry: on the retest of the broken zone from the other side, once it has flipped from resistance to support or support to resistance.
▪️ Stop: back on the original side of the zone. If price reclaims it, the break failed.
▪️ Targets: the next graded zone in the direction of travel, then the next. Use the per-timeframe bias tags on the dashboard: breaking into a region where every timeframe shows ▼ SUP means thin structure ahead.
⚖️ Watch the ★ Strongest readout. When the strongest zone on the chart breaks and holds as a flip, that is the session's structural event.
Rule of thumb: ⭐ First touch of a fresh STRONG / ELITE ◆ zone with Room behind it → look for the rejection trade. ⭐ Decisive close through a high-graded zone → stop fading it, wait for the retest and trade the flip. ⭐ Low grades, no Room, or a zone already tested repeatedly → no trade. ❓ FAQ
Does the indicator repaint?
No. The moving averages are computed on confirmed historical data. Cross alerts fire on the bar of the cross and values are not modified retroactively. To avoid signals that appear and disappear intra-bar, set the alerts to "Once per bar close".
Does it work on any timeframe?
Yes. From tick charts to monthly. In addition, each MA can have its own higher, lower, or equal timeframe relative to the active chart. The default timeframe is the current chart's timeframe.
Why 9 MA types?
Because each type behaves differently. SMA is the pure average; EMA weights recent bars more; HMA virtually eliminates lag; KAMA adapts to volatility; JMA is the smoothest while staying responsive; VWMA weights by volume. Having all of them available lets you use the right tool for each analysis without installing several separate indicators.
What are the 5 MA↔MA alert slots for?
They let you configure specific crossovers between any pair of MAs without having to create all possible combinations. In each slot you pick the fast MA and slow MA from dropdowns and receive alerts for the bullish and bearish crossovers of that pair. Example: Slot 1 = MA 3 crosses MA 4 (classic Golden Cross / Death Cross when MA 3 = EMA 50 and MA 4 = SMA 200).
What is the best MA combination?
There is no single "best" — it depends on the trading style and the asset. The Use Cases section above includes recommended configurations for the 5 most common profiles.

line up — and a consensus row summarises the overall picture.
It is designed as a CONFLUENCE tool: a way to see whether the broader market

RSI is calculated with the standard Wilder method (default length 14) on each
selected timeframe using request.security(). Each row is classified into a zone:
- Overbought — RSI at or above the overbought level (default 70)
- Oversold — RSI at or below the oversold level (default 30)
- Bullish — RSI above the midline (default 50)
- Bearish — RSI below the midline (default 50)
The "ALL" row aggregates only the enabled timeframes:
- If every enabled timeframe is oversold → "STRONG BUY ZONE"
- If every enabled timeframe is overbought → "STRONG SELL ZONE"
- Otherwise it shows the majority bias and a score, e.g. "BULLISH (4/5)"
These are descriptions of momentum conditions — not instructions to buy or sell.

The core idea is alignment. Higher-timeframe RSI defines the bias; lower-timeframe
RSI helps with timing inside that bias.
Example long workflow:

A clean multi-timeframe bias dashboard built around the 9 and 13 EMA. Tracks 9/13 EMA direction across three user-defined timeframes simultaneously and shows whether they're aligned at a glance — without making you flip charts.
What it does
Reads the 9 EMA (blue) and 13 EMA (grey) on three independently selectable timeframes (defaults: 1H / 15m / 5m) and prints the result as a compact dashboard on your chart. Each timeframe is color-coded — green when 9 EMA is above 13 EMA (bullish), red when below (bearish). A single alignment indicator at the top of the table reads "HTF/LTF Aligned" with a light blue dot when all three timeframes agree, grey when they don't.
The dashboard works on any chart timeframe. The three TFs in the table are pulled independently of what you're viewing, so you can sit on a 1m execution chart and still read 1H bias.
How to use it
1. Trend continuation — the cleanest setup
When all three TFs are aligned (blue dot lit), you're in a confirmed trending regime where higher and lower timeframes agree. This is the highest-probability environment to take continuation trades — pullbacks to value, breakouts, retests of broken structure. Trend is your friend, until the end. Trade with the alignment, not against it.
2. Possible reversal — read the flip cascade
The order in which timeframes change is the early-warning system. Reversals almost always start small and work outward:
LTF flips first → first crack, often just noise on its own
MTF flips → trend in your execution window has rolled
HTF flips → regime change confirmed
If you're holding a position in a fully-aligned market and the LTF flips against you, that's your cue to tighten stops, scale out, or stop adding. If two TFs have flipped and only the HTF holds, you're in the danger zone — the trend is dying. A full new-direction alignment (all three flip and re-agree) is the cleanest signal that the reversal is real, not a wick.
3. Top-down bias filter
Set TF1 to your bias timeframe, TF2 to your structure timeframe, TF3 to your execution timeframe. Only take longs when all three show BULL. Only take shorts when all three show BEAR. When the alignment dot is grey, the market is in transition — stand down or wait for it to settle.
4. Confluence trigger
Watch for the dot flipping from grey to light blue. That moment marks all three TFs agreeing for the first time and frequently coincides with momentum kicks and continuation legs. Pair it with your own entry trigger — structure break, pullback to a key level, breakout retest, or whatever you already use.
5. Don't fight the tide check
If your HTF row is BEAR and you're tempted to long an LTF setup, the dashboard sitting grey is the visual reminder you're trading against the higher tide. Reduce size, skip the trade, or wait for alignment to come to you.

It reconstructs and draws up to three recent candles from a user-selected HTF and optionally displays their High, Low, Open, and Close levels with configurable styles and colours, keeping HTF candles and FVG ranges readable while working on lower timeframes.
On each confirmed HTF candle close, the script scans the last three closed HTF candles to detect bullish and bearish Fair Value Gaps using either wicks or candle bodies as the reference. You can filter gaps by a minimum size in ticks, keep only the most recent zones, and extend zones to the right for ongoing interaction tracking.
Set the HTF timeframe according to your horizon, such as Daily for swing context or H4-H2 for intraday structure, then enable the HTF candle overlay and choose which OHLC levels to show for each candle. In the HTF FVG settings, pick Wicks for zones that reflect extremes or Bodies for tighter zones, and increase the minimum gap in ticks if you want fewer, cleaner zones.
