Hut 8 has reached a hosting agreement for approximately 6,400 ASIC mining machines that were previously powered up at the company’s North Bay base. . Hut8 CEO Jaime Leverton said the relocated miners will provide approximately 600PH/s of additional installed operating capacity. Once the machine is powered on, the total installed computing power will increase to approximately 3.2EH/s. "The agreement includes an initial term of 3 months, renewable for one consecutive month unless terminated by either party with 30 days' prior notice. The machines are being shipped immediately and are expected to be electrified in late July.
