Looking at the weekly chart of 
BTCETH BTCETH we can see that since the beginning of 2023, BTCUSD has been steadily advancing relatively with ETHUSD and has been at the new high for the last 2 weeks.
This means that for trend-following traders, BTC is clearly a preference for trading in the long direction.
