In hindsight, the short trade should have been from the resistance line above targeting the entry or stop loss of this idea.

Lesson:
I should have been looking for longs after the upwards trend line at 7.7k failed to break to the downside and Stoch RSI crossed up! ...or after BTC broke above 8k ...or after BTC showed such strength at the entry of this idea!

I should not have been looking to fade the move so early (anticipating the Stoch RSI crossing down), especially knowing most of the market was positioned to the down side (judging by the funding rate and the future's premium).
