Today BTC hit one of the strongest consolidation signals known.

Bitcoin will trend down to the 200 MA on the 1h chart, due to a mean reversion condition being met after the previously predicted upward expansion.

This is a very safe signal, ideally you want to enter a short every time the 20 period cci rolls down until price reaches the 200 mean.

Here are three charts using the MEAN REVERSION MA to showcase the effectiveness of this signal. Again, 19 times out of 20 this signal hits its target.

Do note that lateral mean reversion and trending mean reversion will both count as a signal success. All this signal implies is that price will be defined by the 1.25 standard deviation of the compressing period, and lateral moves can be a win condition.
