Bitcoin investment timehorizon

So most worst case that can happen when you invest in Bitcoin is... you are timing the top...
But if that happened in the past the max time you had to wait after beeing at break even and gaining afterwards was...

0,57 years when invested in April 2013
3,09 years when invested in December 2013
2,95 years when invested in December 2017

...so with these timehorizon in mind... what can happen? :-)
