Metaverse and digital media tools development company Stability AI announced this week the release of StableStudio, an open-source version of DreamStudio, Stability AI's business AI-driven design suite. DreamStudio was originally conceived as an animation studio for open source generative AI art model Disco Diffusion. Last year, DreamStudio shifted its focus to image generation with the advent of Stable Diffusion, which puts DreamStudio more in line with competition from generative imagery platforms like MidJourney and Nightcafe. As previously reported, Metaverse and digital media tool development company Stability AI completed a $101 million seed round of financing.
