It feels like we could see a retest of the middle or the bottom of
the channel soon, before a move in the other direction with the
resistance overhead.

I am looking clearly looking at 102.1 - 103.78 area as support so under that forget it it can and will for sure keep going that way.

It was sure that if the support was broken the price would fall and with that CPI reading I am not surprised it fell this low.

The red trendline has allready been reached from what I can see in other brokers charts. This could be bullish for the US Dollar Index.
