Facebook share prices had a huge impact on the Nasdaq Index overall performance in the last trading session. Share prices fell below two support trend lines in the opening session and head straight south. Share prices managed to find support at 170.05 pushing the prices back up to 173.56 resistance but failed to hold pushing it down to 171.62 support.
There were last-minute buying in the last 30 minutes of trade pushing the prices back up and closing at 172.56 just above 171.62 support.
There are two critical price points that I would like to point out.
1. 177.00 resistance price point- share prices need to break and hold above this point before we could see further moves to the upside.
2. 170.05 support price point - failure to hold at this point could see prices fall to around 167.44-
