From an all-time high of 26,277 on September 27, 2024, the Nifty index fell 3,014 points to 23,263 on November 21, 2024. The Nifty then recovered from this low, reaching 24,858 on December 5, 2024, a gain of 1,595 points, which represents approximately a 53% retracement level.
The Nifty index then fell again from 24,858 on December 5, 2024, to 22,786 on January 27, 2025, a decline of 2,072 points. A potential recovery is expected within the range of 50% to 61.8%, known as the Golden Ratio. If the recovery is 53%, the Nifty could reach 23,885, and if it is 61.8%, it could rise to 24,066.
The Nifty will be considered bullish only if it decisively closes above 24,066 on a daily basis.
