Possible retracement for XAUUSD

XAUUSD had an intense US session as eyes were on the Jackson Hole Symposium. The DXY along with gold soared while European currencies took a dip. While a move to 1926 is definitely in the cards, I wouldn't be shocked to see a small retracement down to the indicated fib level before returning bullish in the Asian and London session.

It could charge straight to 1926 however.
