The SWELL conference overall has been an utter disappointment with only a couple newsworthy announcements being made, including the Bill Gates Foundation partnering with Ripple to provide mobile payments to under-developed countries. Not sure how that's gonna work when many people in those countries don't even have mobile devices, but ok...
With the price of BTC falling AND the price of XRP plummeting from the spike to 30 cents prior to the conference, I and many others have watched our portfolios quickly shed value since Monday. Unless Ripple makes some kind of huge announcement soon – like the rumored Ripple Exchange gateway – I see further downward movement in XRP's price.
I am probably going to take a little break from trading and just concentrate on accumulating for a while - that seemed to work better for me anyway.
