Price Action Trading StrategyIn this strategy, we define the high and low of the previous candle, and then check whether the current candle's high or low is higher or lower than the previous candle's high or low, respectively. If there's a new high, we enter a long position, and if there's a new low, we enter a short position. We also set exit conditions to close the position if the price drops below the previous low or rises above the previous high.
Please note that this is a simple example and should not be used as a standalone trading strategy. It is important to conduct thorough backtesting and consider other factors such as risk management before implementing any trading strategy.

NOTES FOR INSTALLATION:
- Japanese candles might be more expressive than Heiken Ashi, with this indicator.
- Hide the candles in the chart settings (right click on an empty space in the chart, then "Settings", "Symbol", and uncheck "Body", "Borders" and "Wick").
- Add "ChArt Path" to the chart.
- In the indicator's settings, choose the options you prefer. The Advanced setting are tuned by default for dark themes (bgcolor: black/#0a0c12). Feel free to make them your own!
HOW TO READ THE CHART?
- The path is between 2 borders (black by default) that represent the body of the candle (without the wicks).
- The wicks are represented around the path, as a gradient. This makes a price rejection very easy to spot, as a spike for ex.
SETTINGS
The standard settings are simple. You can pick 2 colors (bullish and bearish) for the path. And 1 color for the wicks.
The advanced settings let you customize the wicks' colors and opacity. You can also activate the gradient of volumes inside the path, to indicate the volume behind each candle.
HOW TO USE CHART PATH?
I use it on 2 timeframes (direction/entry), both with FREMA Trend (See below).
When there is a wick spike (price rejection), followed by an arrow signal in FREMA Trend, then there might be an opportunity. I look for confirmations from different origins, like volume, momentum, and cycles.
DO NOT BASE YOUR TRADING DECISIONS ON 1 SINGLE INDICATOR'S SIGNALS.
Always confirm your ideas by other means, like price action and indicators of a different nature.
NOTES ABOUT THE GRADIENT OF VOLUMES:
The more intense is the color, the bigger is the volume.
The unit is a 400 periods moving average of the volumes, considered as 1 volume.
Each color represents half of this volume. For ex: Grays indicate under (or equal) to the 400 MA (low volumes). Bright yellow represents above 7 times the 400 MA (very high volumes).
When there's no available volume datas, the candles turn bright green by default.
Volume-based Support & Resistance Zones-V1 By Trade Mastership™ The all-new Support & Resistance Zones indicator, which has been upgraded to offer traders more powerful features and functionality. This innovative indicator identifies high-volume fractal lows or highs to create zones based on the size of the wick for that timeframe's candle. This makes it easy for traders to visualize which price levels are the most significant for either a trend continuation or a reversal when zones are broken and retested.
The original script for this indicator was created by Trade Mastership, with additional modifications by L N Behera. Credit goes to both of them for the majority of the logic behind this script. Since then, the script has been improved with several changes, including:
Changing the default S/R lines from plots to lines, and giving users the option to change between solid, dashed, or dotted lines for both S/R lines
Adding additional timeframes and more options for TF1, beyond the current TF. Now, users have four timeframes to plot S/R zones from
Giving users the option to easily change the line thickness for all S/R lines
Making it easier to change the colors of S/R lines and zones by consolidating the options under settings (rather than under style)
Adding extensions to active SR Zones to extend all the way right
Adding the option to extend or not extend the previous S/R zones up to the next S/R zone
Adding optional timeframe labels to active S/R zones, with left and right options, as well as the option to adjust how far to the right the label is set
Fixing an issue where the higher timeframe S/R zone was not properly starting from the high/low of fractal. Now, any higher timeframe S/R will begin exactly at the High/Low points. Note that this may not work perfectly on stocks, and if a fractal high/low is too many bars in the past, it will revert to a default max bars back to avoid script errors.
Adding a function to prevent S/R zones from lower timeframes displaying while on a higher timeframe. This helps clean up the chart quite a bit.
Creating arrays for each timeframe's boxes and lines so that the number of S/R zones can be controlled for each timeframe and limit memory consumption.
Adding new alert options and customized alert messages
Here's how this indicator works: it looks for fractal highs or fractal lows with volume that pierces above the volume's Moving Average. This moving average value can be modified in the settings for each timeframe. The fractal highs will be confirmed with three successive higher highs followed by two successive lower highs and vice versa for the fractal lows. The zone is created from the fractal high/low and the close of the candle for whatever timeframe you selected. The bigger the zone, the more significant that zone is.
Traders can disable any zone, change the zones to show lines only, and modify all the colors, transparencies, and thickness of lines for all the zones. To create alerts, traders can enable the types of alerts they want for each timeframe in the indicator's settings. After applying changes, right-click on one of the zones on the chart, and click "Add Alert on Vol S/R Zones." You do not need to add a title, as the correct alert messages are already built-in.
The latest update has migrated the script to Pine Script Version 5 and added a higher number of total boxes/lines to show on the chart. It has also increased the max bars count to the maximum Pine Script allows, enabling traders to utilize as many bars as possible when drawing the left side of SR zones that are very far back on the chart. Additionally, the update fixed issues where the indicator would not load on 1 minute and 3-minute charts unless higher timeframe SR zones
Swing Data - ADR% / RVol / PVol / Float % / Avg $ VolThis table presents consolidated data that swing traders can refer to quickly for their benefit. I am of the firm belief that the information provided in this uncomplicated table is precisely what you require to optimize your trading efficiency, and ultimately, profitability.
The data includes;
1. Market Capitalization - a measure of the total value of a publicly traded company's outstanding shares.
2. Float % - the percentage of a company's outstanding shares that are available for trading on the open market. It is calculated by dividing the number of a company's outstanding shares that are available for trading on the open market by the total number of outstanding shares. A lower float percentage generally means that there are fewer shares available for trading, which can lead to increased volatility in the stock price. On the other hand, a higher float percentage generally means that there are more shares available for trading, which can lead to greater stability in the stock price.
3. ADR% - a technical analysis indicator that measures the average daily price movement as a percentage of its current price. It is calculated by taking the difference between the average high and low prices for a time period, and then dividing it by the current price. The resulting value is then multiplied by 100 to give the ADR% for that day. The ADR% can be useful for traders to assess the potential volatility of a stock. A higher ADR% indicates a greater potential for price movement.
4. ATR - measures the range of price movements of an asset over a specified period of time, taking into account any gaps in price. It is calculated by taking the highest value of the following three values:
The difference between the current high and the current low
The absolute value of the difference between the current high and the previous close
The absolute value of the difference between the current low and the previous close
The resulting value is then averaged over the specified period of time to create the ATR value. This indicator is reflects the average volatility of the asset over the specified period of time.
5. LoD dist. - also refer to Low Of Day distance, a range level gauge of current price based on historical volatility of the price movement, in this case I use ATR. for the historical volatility. Please find below as example for the calculation.
eg. LoD dist. = 104%
Current price (A) = $24.49
Low Price (B) = $22.16
Difference (A) - (B) = $2.33
ATR = $2.25
LoD dist = $2.33 / $2.25 = 103.55% (round up to nearest whole number = 104%)
6. Average Daily $ Volume - used to measure the average amount of money that is traded in a stock or a security over a particular period of time, typically a day. It is calculated by multiplying the average daily trading volume of a security by its average price.
7. Average Daily Volume - used to measure the average no. of share that is traded in a stock or a security over a particular period of time, typically a day.
8. Projected Volume - an estimate of the total volume of trading activity that is expected to occur for the day (from the specific time data), based on an average volume over a specific period of time. Projected volume can be used by traders and investors to help make informed decisions about buying or selling securities, and can also be used as an indicator of market sentiment and volatility. However, it's important to note that projected volume is an estimate and actual trading activity may vary.
9. Relative Volume - a measure of the volume of a stock that is trading at the specific time, relative to its average trading volume over a longer period. It is expressed as a percentage and is often used by traders and investors to identify stocks that are trading with higher or lower than usual volume.
Range Sentiment Profile [LuxAlgo]The Range Sentiment Profile indicator is inspired from the volume profile and aims to indicate the degree of bullish/bearish variations within equidistant price areas inside the most recent price range.
The most bullish/bearish price areas are highlighted through lines extending over the entire range.

Length: Most recent bars used for the calculation of the indicator.
Rows: Number of price areas the price range is divided into.
Use Intrabar: Use intrabar data to compute the range sentiment profile.
Timeframe: Intrabar data timeframe.
🔶 USAGE
This tool can be used to easily determine if a certain price area contain more significant bullish or bearish price variations. This is done by obtaining an estimate of the accumulation of all the close to open variations occurring within a specific profile area.
A blue range background indicates a majority of bullish variations within each area while an orange background indicates a majority of bearish variations within each area.
Users can easily identify the areas with the most bullish/bearish price variations by looking at the bullish/bearish maximums.
It can be of interest to see where profile bins might have no length, these can indicate price areas with price variations with alternating signs (bullish variations are followed by a bearish sign) and similar body. They can also indicate a majority of either bullish or bearish variations alongside a minority of more significant opposite variations.
These areas can also provide support/resistance, as such price entering these areas could reverse.
Users can obtain more precise results by allowing the profile to use intrabar data. This will change the calculation of the profile, see the details section for more information.
🔶 DETAILS
The Range Sentiment Profile's design is similar to the way a volume profile is constructed.
First the maximum/minimum values over the most recent Length bars are obtained, these define the calculation range of the profile.
The range is divided into Rows equidistant areas. We then see if price lied within a specific area, if it's the case we accumulate the difference between the closing and opening price for that specific area.
Let d = close - open . The length of the bin associated to a specific area is determined as follows:
length = Width / 100 * Area / Max
Where Area is the accumulated d within the area, and Max the maximum value between the absolute value of each accumulated d of all areas.
The percentage visible on each bin is determined as 100 multiplied by the accumulated d within the area divided by the total absolute value of d over the entire range.
🔹 Intrabar Calculation
When using intrabar data the range sentiment profile is calculated differently.
For a specific area and candle within the interval, the accumulated close to open difference is accumulated only if the intrabar candle of the user selected timeframe lies within the area.
This can return more precise results compared to the standard method, at the cost of a higher computation time.
Crypto Uptrend Script + Pullback//Volume CandlesDescription: his is an adaption of my Pullback candle - This works on all timeframes and Markets (Forex//Stocks//)
Crypto Uptrend Script with Pullback Candle allows traders to get into a trend when the price is at end of a pullback and entering a balance phase in the market (works on all markets). The use of Moving averages to help identify a Trends and the use of Key levels to help traders be aware of where strong areas are in the market.
This script can work really well in Crypto Bull Runs when used on HTF and with confluences
The script has key support and resistance zones which are made up of quarterly data. Price reacts to these areas but patience is required as price will take time to come into these areas

The First candle is the Bullish Volume Candle - This candle is set to a multiplier of 2x with a crossover of 50/100 on Volume - this then will paint a purple candle.

The second candle is a Hammer - I prefer using the Hammers on Higher Timeframes however they do work on all timeframes. .
The third candle is a Exhaustion of impulse downward move.
Uses of this candle - can denote a new trend but has to be with confluence to a demand area // support area or with any use of technical analysis - using this alone is not advised
The fourth candle is a indecision candle in the shape of a Doji - this candle can help identify if the trend is in a continuation or a reversal
This script can work really well in Crypto Bull Runs

Median Memory: Number of days used to compute the median and first/third quartiles.
Forecast Window: Number of bars forecasted in the future.
Auto Forecast Window: Set the forecast window so that the forecast length completes an interval.
🔶 USAGE
The periodic nature of volume on certain securities allows users to more easily forecast using historical volume. The forecast can highlight intervals where volume tends to be more important, that is where most trading activity takes place.
More pronounced periodicity will tend to return more accurate forecasts.
The historical forecast can also highlight intervals where high/low volume is not expected.
The interquartile range is also highlighted, giving an area where we can expect the volume to lie.

This forecasting method is similar to the time series decomposition method used to obtain the seasonal component.
We first segment the chart over equidistant intervals. Each interval is delimited by a change in the daily timeframe.
To forecast volume at time t+1 we see where the current bar lies in the interval, if the bar is the 78th in interval then the forecast on the next bar is made by taking the median of the 79th bar over N intervals, where N is the median memory.
This method ensures capturing the periodic fluctuation of volume.
Sunset candlesDisplays the volume behind each candle with colors, to visualise their evolution over time, directly in the chart.
This indicator is best suited for dark mode (Suggested background color: #0a0c12).

Net Positions (Net Longs & Net Shorts) - By LeviathanThis script is an experimental indicator that visualizes the entering and exiting of long and short positions in the market. It also includes other useful tools, such as NL/NS Profile, NL/NS Delta, NL/NS Ratio, Volume Heatmap, Divergence finder, Relative Strength Index of Net Longs and Net Shorts, EMAs and VWMAs and more.
To avoid misinterpretation, it's important to understand some basics. The “real” ratio between net long and net short positions in a given market is always 1:1. A futures contract is an agreement between two parties to buy or sell an underlying asset at an agreed-upon price. Each contract has a long side and a short side, with one party agreeing to buy (long) and the other party agreeing to sell (short) the asset at the agreed-upon price. The long position holder anticipates that the asset's price will rise, while the short position holder expects it to fall. Because every futures contract involves both a buyer and a seller, it is impossible to have more net longs than net shorts or vice versa (in terms of the net value). For every long position opened, there must be a corresponding short position taken by another market participant (and vice versa), thus maintaining the 1:1 ratio between longs and shorts. While there can be an imbalance in the number of traders/accounts holding long and short contracts, the net value of positions held on each side remains 1 to 1.
Open Interest (OI) is a metric that tracks the number of open (unsettled) contracts in a given market. For example, Open Interest of 100 BTC means that there are currently 100 BTC worth of longs and 100 BTC worth of shorts open in the market. There may be more traders on one side holding smaller positions, and fewer traders on the other side holding larger positions, but the net value of positions on one side is equal to the net value of positions on the other side → 100 BTC in longs and 100 BTC in shorts (1:1). Consider a scenario in which a trader decides to open a long position for 1 BTC at a price of HKEX:30 ,000. For this long order to be executed, a counterparty must take the opposite side of the contract by placing an order to short 1 BTC at the same price of HKEX:30 ,000. When both the long and short orders are matched and executed, the open interest increases by 1 BTC, reflecting the addition of this new contract to the market.
Changes in Open Interest essentially tell us 3 things:
- OI Increase - new positions entered the market (both longs and shorts!)
- OI Decrease - positions exited the market (both longs and shorts!)
- OI Flat - no change in open positions due to low activity or simply lots of transfers of contracts
However, different concepts can be used to analyze sentiment, aggressiveness, and activity in the market by analyzing data such as Open Interest, price, volume, etc. This indicator combines Open Interest data and price action to simplify the visualization of positions entering and exiting the market. It is based on the following concept:
Increase in Open Interest + Increase in price = Longs Opening
Decrease in Open Interest + Decrease in price = Longs Closing
Increase in Open Interest + Decrease in price = Shorts Opening
Decrease in Open Interest + Increase in price = Shorts Closing
When "Longs Opening" occurs, the OI Delta value is added to the running total of Net Longs, and when "Longs Closing" occurs, the OI Delta value is subtracted from the running total of Net Longs.
When "Shorts Opening" occurs, the OI Delta value is added to the running total of Net Shorts, and when "Shorts Closing" occurs, the OI Delta value is subtracted from the running total of Net Shorts.
To summarize:
Net Longs: Cumulative value of Longs Opening and Longs Closing (LO - LC)
Net Shorts: Cumulative value of Shorts Opening and Shorts Closing (SO - SC)
Net Delta: Net Longs - Net Shorts
Net Ratio: Net Longs / Net Shorts
This is the fundamental logic of how this script functions, but it also includes several other tools and options. Here is an overview of the settings:

- Net Positions (display values of Net Longs, Net Shorts, Net Delta, Net Ratio as described above)
- Relative Strength (display Net Longs, Net Shorts, Net Delta, Net Ratio in the form of a momentum oscillator that measures the speed and change of movements. Same logic as RSI for price)

VWAP+15EMA with RSIVWAP+EMA+RSI Strategy for the group MelléCasH
This strategy will enter a long position when the closing price is above both the VWAP and the 15 EMA, and the RSI is above the specified overbought level. It will exit the position when the price falls by the specified stop loss percentage, rises by the specified take profit percentage, or when the trailing stop loss (which trails the highest price achieved after the position was entered by the specified percentage) is hit. The VWAP, EMA, and RSI indicators are also plotted on the chart for reference.

The script calculates the values of each indicator and then normalizes and weighs them according to predefined weights. The composite index is formed by summing the weighted values of each indicator. The final Moon Index is plotted on the chart, along with several other related lines like the exponential moving averages (EMA) and simple moving averages (SMA) of the index.
This custom index can be used by traders to get a more comprehensive view of the market and make better-informed trading decisions based on the combined insights of multiple indicators.
CVD - Cumulative Volume Delta Candles (old version)An old session of CVD from Tradingview. I noticed that the latest version of CVD has errors in calculations between different timeframes and with other similar indicators by other authors.
Supply and Demand Visible Range [LuxAlgo]The Supply and Demand Visible Range indicator displays areas & levels on the user's chart for the visible range using a novel volume-based method. The script also makes use of intra-bar data to create precise Supply & Demand zones.
🔶 SETTINGS
Threshold %: Percentage of the total visible range volume used as a threshold to set supply/demand areas. Higher values return wider areas.
Resolution: Determines the number of bins used to find each area. Higher values will return more precise results.
Intra-bar TF: Timeframe used to obtain intra-bar data.
🔶 USAGE
The supply/demand areas and levels displayed by the script are aimed at providing potential supports/resistances for users. The script's behavior makes it recalculate each time the visible chart interval/range changes, as such this script is more suited as a descriptive tool.
Price reaching a supply (upper) area that might have been tested a few times might be indicative of a potential reversal down, while price reaching a demand (lower) area that might have been tested a few times could be indicative of a potential reversal up.
The width of each area can also indicate which areas are more liquid, with thinner areas indicating more significant liquidity.
The user can control the width of each area using the Threshold % setting, with a higher setting returning wider areas. The precision setting can also return wider supply/demand areas if very low values are used and has the benefit of improving the script execution time at the cost of precision.
The Supply and Demand Zones indicator returns various levels. The solid-colored levels display the average of each area, while dashed colored lines display the weighted averages of each area. These weighted averages can highlight more liquid price levels within the supply/demand areas.
Central solid/dashed lines display the average between the areas' averages and weighted averages.
🔶 DETAILS
Each supply/demand area is constructed from volume data. The calculation is done as follows:
The accumulated volume within the chart visible range is calculated.
The chart visible range is divided into N bins of equal width (where N is the resolution setting)
Calculation start from the highest visible range price value for the supply area, and lowest value for the demand area.
The volume within each bin after the starting calculation level is accumulated, once this accumulated volume is equal or exceed the threshold value ( p % of the total visible range volume) the area is set.
Each bin volume accumulation within an area is displayed on the left, this can help indicate how fast volume accumulates within an area.
🔶 LIMITATIONS
The script execution time is dependent on all of the script's settings, using more demanding settings might return errors so make sure to be aware of the potential scenarios that might make the script exceed the allowed execution time:
Having a chart's visible range including a high number of bars.
Using a high number of bins (high resolution value) will increase computation time, this can be worsened by using a high threshold %.
Using very low intra-bar timeframe can drastically increase computation time but can also simply throw an error if the chart timeframe is high.
Users facing issues can lower the resolution value or use the chart timeframe for intra-bar data.
Volume Profile Fixed Range Support and Resistance LevelsThis script is based on the excellent Volume Profile / Fixed Range indicator by @LonesomeTheBlue, so all credit for the foundations of this indicator goes to @LonesomeTheBlue
I basically made 5 instances of the original script and added horizontal lines at the beginning and end of the each Value Area. To use the script as a support and resistance tool without the Value Areas and Point of Control (POC) labels you just need to untick "Boxes" and "Labels" in the "Style" section of the “Settings”.
The default look-back periods (in bars) are 7, 30, 60, 180 and 365, but you can change this or the colour of the lines easily in the “Settings”.
The dashed lines are the respective POC.
I find this tool to be very useful for quickly identifying interest levels on any chart while also ensuring a certain amount of objectivity in your TA.

Volume / Open Interest "Footprint" - By LeviathanThis script generates a footprint-style bar (profile) based on the aggregated volume or open interest data within your chart's visible range. You can choose from three different heatmap visualizations: Volume Delta/OI Delta, Total Volume/Total OI, and Buy vs. Sell Volume/OI Increase vs. Decrease.
How to use the indicator:
1. Add it to your chart.
2. The script will use your chart's visible range and generate a footprint bar on the right side of the screen. You can move left/right, zoom in/zoom out, and the bar's data will be updated automatically.
Settings:
- Source: This input lets you choose the data that will be displayed in the footprint bar.
- Resolution: Resolution is the number of rows displayed in a bar. Increasing it will provide more granular data, and vice versa. You might need to decrease the resolution when viewing larger ranges.
- Type: Choose between 3 types of visualization: Total (Total Volume or Total Open Interest increase), UP/DOWN (Buy Volume vs Sell Volume or OI Increase vs OI Decrease), and Delta (Buy Volume - Sell Volume or OI Increase - OI Decrease).
- Positive Delta Levels: This function will draw boxes (levels) where Delta is positive. These levels can serve as significant points of interest, S/R, targets, etc., because they mark the zones where there was an increase in buy pressure/position opening.
- Volume Aggregation: You can aggregate volume data from 8 different sources. Make sure to check if volume data is reported in base or quote currency and turn on the RQC (Reported in Quote Currency) function accordingly.
- Other settings mostly include appearance inputs. Read the tooltips for more info.
