Days away from the U.S. presidential election, & most investors/traders have noticed volatility has spiked & the VIX has targeted monthly highs. For those who don't know what the VIX is, in short, it is a measure of fear aka the fear index, usually high during major upcoming or ongoing announcements & displays investor sentiment/macro-risks. It will give you a forward looking (derived from the options markets) idea on the general health of markets.
Back to BABA & the trading plan. I've displayed the peaks & troughs of BABA, by using the a demand & sell zone based on previous levels.
BUY Zones 1: 283-(290)=50 day MA
BUY Zones 2: 265-272
* Use sell zones or tops for exits, if swing trading/day trading. Medium to long term investors await previous sell zones to be broken.
Major Announcements (Firm Specific): Nov, 6th Earnings report
