ETH/BTC had a very good few days. ETH has gained significant ground against Bitcoin, making ETH more valuable and desirable in the process. Second, and certainly most importantly, as can be seen from the chart, ETH/BTC has emerged from the downtrend it has been trading since the beginning of December.
Ethereum is a more 'risky' asset than Bitcoin these days. If ETH wins against BTC, that means investors become more risk-seekers. When investors are willing to take more risks, it's always good for alternatives and the market in general.
