ETHBTC may be the key that drives 2018 Q1

As the chart shows, we had a reversal confirmed as 2018 came along. I think ETH is likely to start driving the market more than it used to, for it has slowly but surely gained in price & prestige. Many no longer consider it an "alt", and crucially many exchanges have fully adopted ETH-denominated pairs. This is comparable to elevating it to the "reserve currency" status.

I do think ETH may in the coming weeks experience some setbacks against USD (see chart below):

However, after that, we'll start Wave 3 against BTC & a new cycle against USD. While the cycle against USD may take some time to form, if bitcoin keeps going lower we'll see Wave 3 against BTC quickly.
