For myself, as a more aggressive trader I might consider entering on market open. If there are gaps I will wait for price to retrace / fill gap before entering short. If gap is not filled, odds are I will take no positions, unless I spot any short opportunity on the 4HR TF. Risk reward I will be looking for myself will be roughly 1:2.5 to 1:4 and above if possible. Anything below that breaks my own guidelines for entering the trade.
