As of writing, $8 million short positions are still open. Combine that with all the progress IF and the community are delivering, plus the latent realization of severe limitations in blockchain based DLTs (Cardano Smart Contract most recently) there is a good chance IOTA is switching into a steep uptrend channel after 4 years of misery.
