The major stock market averages have all topped over the last 2-4 months depending on which indices you look at. If you don't use charts (which I say is like driving a car with a blindfold on) and rely on fundamentals, the stock market isn't under valued or even fairly valued using multiple valuation metrics. So, even if you don't agree with my belief that we are in the middle of a CRASH, and you have long term equity positions that you don't want to pay capital gains taxes on before the new year allows you to differ till 2017, at least protect yourself with a great, relatively cheap hedge.
