Voxies to Participate in Gamescom 2025 in Cologne on August 20th

Voxies will showcase its turn-based Web3 title Voxie Tactics at Gamescom 2025, taking place in Cologne, from August 20 to 24.

The team’s participation is expected to facilitate meetings with players, industry representatives and prospective partners during the international gaming trade fair.

Voxie Tactics is a blockchain-based role-playing game (RPG) launched in 2021, drawing inspiration from classic tactics games of the 1990s and 2000s. Developed on the Polygon network, it integrates NFTs and offers a blend of easy-to-learn yet challenging gameplay. The game features a variety of NFTs, in-game mechanics, and earning opportunities.

Gameplay Mechanics: Voxie Tactics includes several gameplay modes:

PvP Battling: Turn-based combat in 3D arenas with specific win conditions for earning VOXEL tokens.

PvE Mode: Themed events like the Dragonfest, where players combat challenges to earn VOXEL.

Exploration Mode (in development): A story-driven, player-versus-environment adventure.

The game also includes typical RPG elements such as forging, leveling, and pets, with Voxie characters and assets represented as NFTs.

VOXEL, an ERC-20 utility token, is the official cryptocurrency of Voxie Tactics, with a total supply of 300 million, of which 105 million are currently in circulation. VOXEL is used for all in-game transactions like buying assets, upgrades, consumables, and services such as renting Voxies or paying recipe fees in The Arcanist’s Forge. Players can earn VOXEL through PvP battles and can use it to burn unused NFTs to create new items or purchase physical merchandise. The distribution of VOXEL tokens is planned over a five-year period.
