Petrobras to focus on operating assets for initial ethanol investments

Brazilian state-run oil company Petrobras' PETR3 initial investments in ethanol will focus on assets that are already operational, the firm's head of energy transition said on Thursday.

The oil giant, which is in talks with ethanol firms over possible joint ventures, would hold a maximum 50% share in potential partnerships, Mauricio Tolmasquim told reporters on the sidelines of an event in Rio de Janeiro.
