Spir Group ASA: Partnering with Telenor to leverage IoT technology
Oslo, 9 October 2024: Spir Group ASA (OSE: SPIR) is today announcing thatSikriAS, a Spir Group subsidiary, has entered into a new partnership with Telenorwith the ambition of elevating the value of IoT technology. The partnershipcombines Telenor's expertise in telecommunications with Sikri's advancedtechnology for data collection and analysis.
The partnership provides a comprehensive ecosystem for IoT and builds on andformalizes previous collaborations between Sikri and Telenor. As Norway'sleading telecom operator, Telenor delivers reliable network coverage andcapacity optimized for IoT. This will be connected with Sikri's AIoT platform,which collects and analyzes data from various types of sources. These caninclude real-time recordings from IoT devices and IoT sensors, as well aspublicly available data sources and historical data.
