Philippines posts $359 mln balance of payment surplus in August

The Philippines' overall balance of payments in August stood at a surplus of $359 million, following a deficit of $167 million in July, the central bank said on Friday.

The cumulative balance of payments over the January to August period was a deficit of $5.4 billion. The central bank has forecast a $6.3 billion deficit for 2025.
