Irish GDP Returns to Contraction in Q2

قراءة أقل من دقيقة

Ireland’s GDP declined by 1.0% quarter-on-quarter in Q2 2025, reversing a robust 7.4% gain in the previous quarter, according to preliminary estimates.

The contraction ended a five-month streak of growth, primarily due to a slowdown in the multinational-dominated industrial sector.

On a year-on-year basis, GDP growth moderated to 12.5%, slowing from a 20% increase in the prior quarter.
