GC Shanghai ORB • Simple 1m Close Trigger (v6)

This is a breakout strategy for gold futures at 8:30 - 8:35 pm US central time. It marks the high and low of the 5 minute candle close, and looks for a 1 minute candle close above and below that 5 minute candle. A 1 minute bar close above triggers a long, and a close below triggers a short. 1 trade per day, with a 50 tick stop loss and 100 tick take profit on every trade. Designed to take advantage of more liquidity and volume coming in around the shanghai trading session open.
