Extended VWAPS

68
Extended VWAPs is a comprehensive Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP) indicator that displays historical VWAP closes as extended horizontal lines across multiple timeframes. Unlike traditional VWAP indicators that reset with each new period, Extended VWAPs preserves previous period closing values as support/resistance levels, creating a detailed map of institutional interest zones.

Key Features
📊 Multi-Timeframe Support

9 Timeframes: 30 Min, Hourly, 4 Hour, 8 Hour, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, plus 2 customizable timeframes
Each timeframe can be individually enabled/disabled
Configurable number of historical lines per timeframe (0-50)
Custom color selection for each timeframe

📈 Dual VWAP Display

Historical VWAP Lines: Previous period VWAP closes extended as horizontal levels
Live/Current VWAPs: Real-time developing VWAP for each active timeframe
Toggle current VWAPs on/off independently from historical lines

🎨 Advanced Styling Options

Line Styles: Solid, Dashed, or Dotted
Line Width: Adjustable thickness (1-4)
Label Customization:

Position: Left (at creation) or Right (current bar)
Style: Label box, Text only, or Bubble
Size: Tiny, Small, Normal, or Large
Content: Timeframe, Price, TF + Price, or Custom text

🔔 Comprehensive Alert System

Individual alerts for each timeframe (live touches)
Separate alerts for historical line touches
Combined "any VWAP touched" alerts
Script-based alerts with toggle

📍 How It Works
When a VWAP period closes (day, week, hour, etc.), the indicator captures that closing VWAP value and extends it forward as a horizontal line. These lines often act as significant support/resistance levels because they represent the average price institutions paid during that period.

Use Cases
🎯 Key Support/Resistance Levels
Historical VWAP closes often act as magnets for price action. Watch for:

Bounces off untested VWAP levels
Clusters of VWAPs from multiple timeframes
Price consolidation around VWAP zones

📊 Institutional Interest Zones
VWAPs represent the average price paid by all market participants. Historical closes show where institutions established positions in previous periods.
🔄 Multi-Timeframe Confluence
When VWAPs from different timeframes align, they create stronger support/resistance zones. The indicator makes it easy to spot these confluences.
📈 Trend Analysis

Price above multiple VWAP timeframes = Bullish bias
Price below multiple VWAP timeframes = Bearish bias
Price between VWAPs = Potential consolidation

Tips for Best Results

Start Simple: Begin with just Daily and Weekly VWAPs, then add other timeframes as needed
Watch for Clusters: Multiple VWAPs in a tight range create stronger levels
Combine with Volume: High volume touches of VWAP levels are more significant
Use Appropriate Timeframes: Match VWAP timeframes to your trading style

Scalping: 30M, Hourly
Day Trading: Hourly, 4H, Daily
Swing Trading: Daily, Weekly
Position Trading: Weekly, Monthly

Clean Charts: Use label customization to avoid clutter - consider using tiny labels or positioning them on the left

Alert Configuration
The indicator provides multiple alert types:

Live VWAP Touches: When price touches the current developing VWAP
Historical VWAP Touches: When price touches extended VWAP lines
Combined Alerts: Any VWAP touch (live or historical)

New Feature: Naked (Untested) VWAP Level Identification
This update adds comprehensive tracking and visualization of "naked" or untested VWAP levels - those that haven't been touched by price since their creation.
Key Features Added:

Visual Distinction for Naked Levels

Untested VWAP levels display in a different color (default: gray)
Automatically change to original color once price touches them
Customizable transparency for naked levels

Separate Count Controls

Independent limits for regular VWAPs (e.g., last 10 daily VWAPs)
Separate limits for naked VWAPs (e.g., up to 20 untested daily VWAPs)
See important untested levels from weeks or months ago without cluttering the chart

Custom Naked Labels

Dedicated label text for naked VWAPs (e.g., "nd" for naked daily)
Customizable prefix for naked levels when using timeframe labels
Labels automatically update when levels get tested

Smart Tracking System

Continuously monitors which VWAP levels have been touched by price
Maintains history of up to 200 VWAPs per timeframe in the background
Efficiently displays only the most relevant levels based on your settings

Benefits:

Easily identify potential support/resistance levels that haven't been tested
Focus on the most significant untested levels while maintaining clean charts
Better understand market structure by seeing which levels remain "unfinished business"

All features are optional and can be enabled/disabled in the "Naked Level Styling" settings group.
