This script expands upon the original Triple Impulsive Candle Detector by adding anchored midpoint lines that visually project potential reaction levels following impulsive candles. Impulsive candles are detected systematically using three configurable detectors based on candle range, volume, and body-to-wick ratio.

Each detected impulsive candle anchors a horizontal midpoint line (either body midpoint or full candle midpoint) that can extend for a fixed number of bars or dynamically until price revisits it, with user-defined controls for both behavior and visual styling.

Triple Impulsive Candle Detector + Body Retrace Levels


This tool identifies high-momentum impulsive candles using three independent detectors with adjustable size, volume and body-strength filters. Each detector highlights strong bullish or bearish expansion candles and applies custom bar coloring for immediate visual clarity.

Beyond impulse detection, the script automatically draws body-retrace levels based on the structure of the impulse candle. These levels help traders visualize likely pullback zones, continuation points, and invalidation thresholds.

Key Features
📌 Three Impulse Detectors

Each with separate settings:

• Average true range multiplier
  
• Volume multiplier
  
• Minimum body-to-wick ratio
  
• Custom bullish/bearish colors
  

Detectors stack with priority (Detector 3 > Detector 2 > Detector 1).

📌 Custom Retracement Level of the Impulse Body

Choose a percentage between 0% and 100%:
0% → Close
50% → Midpoint retracement
100% → Open (full retracement level)
Works identically for bullish and bearish candles

This allows you to draw:

• Half-body retrace levels
  
• Deep retrace levels (66.6%, 75%)
  
• Shallow levels (25%, 33.3%)
  
• Full retrace (open)
  

📌 Intelligent Line Handling

• Lines update dynamically while “active,” then freeze permanently:
  
• Stop-on-hit Mode: line grows until the retrace level is touched or max bars are reached
  
• Fixed-Length Mode: line extends for a set number of bars
  
• Auto-Expire Option: delete lines once they are complete
  
• Replay-Safe Implementation: no TradingView 10k-bar errors, works perfectly in Bar Replay

– Body (Close → Open) for true impulse-body retrace levels
– Full Candle (Low → High) for classic wick-based levels
