NCTA Aurora PB Trading System
The Aurora PB Trading System is a multi time frame indicator allowing you to view and receive alerts for three different Aurora time frames on one single chart. This allows alignment entries to be viewed easily on one chart instead of scanning across multiple charts.
This indicator is specifically made for a 1/3/5/10 minute and a 5/10/15 minute chart setup. It can be used for other time frame combinations as long as the three chart time frames are divisible by the host chart time frame. It should always be hosted on the lowest time frame but the first time frame does not have to match the chart time frame. The indicator will show on the right hand side what time frame is chosen for each input.
This system is designed to present a simple view of trending signals. The signals will alert the beginning of a possible new trend. The signals also indicate when a trend is continuing or weakening, which advises the trader to adjust their stop or exit the trade. If the trend resumes, the system will print a new confirmation of an entry.
When traded properly, using a 2-3 timeframe alignment, the system will display both trending trades, which anticipate a potentially longer move, or catch trades which are likely shorter moves. At times catch trades may be counter trend, so traders will be looking for a smaller profit.
There are two settings, CXA and PBA. CXA is more sensitive to triggering possible entries while PBA is more conservative. The system will display on the indicator which “mode” is set for each selected time frame, CXA or PBA .
How to use:
Entry Signals and Alerts are available for when the following conditions are met:
- First time frame is not in direct conflict with the second time frame (PB3).
- First and second time frame are in direct alignment (PB35)
- First and third time frame are in direct alignment (PB13).
This is a Multi Time Frame version of the Aurora System. This is not being published as an update to the Aurora System indicator to preserve its original functionality for current users and also allow these two indicators to be viewed on the same chart layout.
