Total open trades

The count of all currently active entries that have not yet been closed or settled. This metric indicates your current market exposure and how many individual positions are contributing to your Open P&L.

Idle state: If the strategy is currently flat (no active positions), this value is set to 0.

Strategic value: Monitoring this number is essential for risk management. A high number of open trades suggests high exposure and may require more margin, whereas a "0" indicates the strategy is currently in a cash-only, "wait-and-see" mode.

Exclusions: This metric strictly counts current active positions and does not include historical (closed) trades or pending orders that have not yet been filled.
