// Constructs the trailing ATR stop above or below the price, and switches
// directions when the source price breaks the ATR stop. Uses the Average
// Directional Index (ADX) to switch between ATR multipliers. The higher
// multiplier is used when the ADX is rising, and the lower ATR multiplier
// is used with the ADX is falling. This ADX criteria further widens...
This is revision 2 of "Multi Time Frame MA Duplicates"
@RicardoSantos - helped me fix my brain. Narf.
One stop shop for multiple MA duplicates over different resolutions.
A veritable banquet of MA's to choose from.
Set up your MA variables, and then plot up to 4 duplicates all using different time frames.
A simple modification of the built-in "Average Directional Index":
To identify wether there is an uptrend or a downtrend, the function color is conditional:
no trend: black
small uptrend (weak threshold): light green
big uptrend (strong threshold): green
small downtrend (weak threshold): light red
big downtrend (strong threshold): red
B3 Directional Trend Index ~ All about the trend! William Blau is the designer of this gem, and IMHO it is the best trend finder of all the lagging indicators out there I have tested. It is important to pay attention to the slope and thickness of the line, and its relationship to zero. A reversion to the zero may look momentous, but in fact it could reverse...
This technique was described by William Blau in his book "Momentum,
Direction and Divergence" (1995). His book focuses on three key aspects
of trading: momentum, direction and divergence. Blau, who was an electrical
engineer before becoming a trader, thoroughly examines the relationship between
price and momentum in step-by-step examples....
Showing EMA 100 lines from different timeframes in one indicator.
It can be usefull for determining trend direction without change main timeframe.
Also, when most of the lines converge at one point, the trend changes direction
Recommended for using in TF 15 min, TF 30 min
Sorry for my English :))

Script for filtering out periods when market is not trending.
It defines downtrend as following:
Lowest price of last 2 days is equal or lower then lowest price of last 100 days.
Values 2 and 100 are customizable.
Uptrend analogically with highs.
An EMA is applied to the ADX in order to catch the exhaustion of a trend (i.e. ADX line crossunder EMAADX line) or the possible formation of a new one. In the first case, we would wait a confirmation signal, which happens when the crossunder has a value greater then 50. A new trend is created when the difference between the ADX and the EMAADX is positive, with ADX...
